Work With Me

I work with aerial artists, performers, and movers through a combination of technical training, movement conditioning, and creative research.

My approach integrates biomechanics, aerial practice, and Pilates-informed movement to support strength, efficiency, graceful movement quality, and long-term sustainability in the body.

Explore my approach:

  • Aerial Architecture is a Pilates-informed conditioning and movement methodology designed specifically for aerial artists. Rooted in biomechanics, alignment, and movement organisation, the practice explores how principles such as control, precision, and structural support directly enhance aerial technique and long-term physical resilience in suspension.

Through workshops, intensives, and professional training, participants are guided towards a deeper understanding of how the body functions in the air — refining movement quality, improving efficiency, and developing greater awareness within their practice. Sessions focus on core elements of aerial training including inversions, suspension support, transitions, dynamic movement, and line development, while emphasising sustainable approaches to strength, mobility, and conditioning.

Blending technical refinement with movement research, this methodology approaches aerial practice not only as skill acquisition, but as an evolving study of structure, force, rhythm, and expression within the body. The methodology supports aerialists in cultivating stronger foundations, clearer movement pathways, and a more intelligent and sustainable relationship to training.

  • Rope

Georgina’s rope coaching focuses on developing strong technical foundations while refining movement quality, coordination, and efficiency on vertical apparatus. Classes explore key rope skills including climbs, inversions, balances, beats, rolls, descents, and dynamic transitions, with a particular emphasis on how movement is initiated and controlled through the core. Through guided warm-ups, technical drills, and skill-based training, participants are encouraged to deepen their understanding of biomechanics, expand their movement vocabulary, and build greater strength, clarity, and ease in the air. Suitable for intermediate aerialists looking to refine technique and progress their rope practice through focused and intelligent training.

    Silks

Georgina’s silks classes emphasise technical refinement, movement quality, and fluid sequencing through a biomechanics-informed approach to aerial practice. Combining strength, sensitivity, and expression, participants explore repertoire and exercises designed to refine transitions, improve coordination, and develop greater clarity and precision in movement. Through the exploration of tempo, pathways, and dynamic flow, the classes encourage a more connected and articulate approach to aerial movement while fostering creativity, awareness, and delicacy in the air. The tools and principles explored can be applied broadly across aerial practice to support both technical and artistic development.

  • Georgina’s Pilates teaching focuses on intelligent movement training through awareness of biomechanics, alignment, posture, core integration, mobility and movement quality. Combining principles from both physical conditioning and performance practice, her classes are designed to build strength, coordination, and long-term physical wellbeing through intentional and efficient movement.

Drawing from her background in aerial arts and over two decades of movement experience, Georgina curates dynamic and personalised sessions that encourage clients to feel more connected, capable, and supported within their bodies — working towards resilience and effortless elegance in everyday movement to reach our fullest human potential.

  • Research & Collaboration

Alongside her technical teaching practice, Georgina engages in collaborative and research-based approaches to aerial movement through devising, experimentation, and interdisciplinary exchange. Her work explores the relationship between movement, apparatus, composition, and collective practice, with a particular interest in duo vertical work, aerial tipi research, and contemporary circus processes.

Through residencies, collaborative laboratories, and creative development projects, she facilitates spaces that encourage curiosity, responsiveness, and shared exploration — supporting artists in developing new material, expanding movement language, and deepening their relationship to aerial practice beyond technique alone.

Ways to work together:
