Mat and Reformer Pilates in Budapest | Group | Private | Online
“I was first introduced to Pilates in 2013 during my formal training as an aerialist at the National Centre for Circus Arts in London. Since then, it’s remained a consistent part of my routine—a daily practice that supports, strengthens, and refines my movement.
What draws me to Pilates is its intelligent blend of biomechanics, sequential movement, and the grace of dance and ballet. It cultivates a strong, fluid, and conscious physicality—something I value deeply as a mover and performer.
I’m certified through Pilates Union (Mat) and the London Pilates Academy (Reformer), and my teaching blends the classic Pilates repertoire with my background in circus and aerial arts. I aim to create dynamic, contemporary classes that not only build strength and flexibility but also deepen body awareness for long-term physical wellbeing.
As someone whose body is often overworked, I’ve experienced firsthand the therapeutic benefits of Pilates—from relieving back pain to preventing injury. It’s been a tool for recovery and sustainability, enhancing every aspect of my movement training.
“As a complete Pilates beginner I was slightly anxious for my first face to face class, however I needn’t have been; Georgie put my mind at ease instantly and made me feel super comfortable. The small class size means you receive the right level of attention - enough, but not too much. I felt so relaxed in Georgie’s presence and thoroughly enjoyed my first class. Georgie is so knowledgeable and talented with what she does and ran her class with complete professionalism. I really hope it’s something I keep up with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone to try one of Georgie’s classes. Thank you so much.”
In my classes, I prioritise core strength, spinal and pelvic awareness, mobility, and floor conditioning techniques. My approach is rhythmic and momentum-driven, allowing students to challenge themselves at a steady pace while staying grounded in safe and intentional movement.
It brings me so much joy to guide people through this practice—especially those who don’t get to move as much in their daily lives. Pilates is not just about the body, but the attention and presence we bring to it. I hope to offer space for both.”
